Dr. Jason Brenker

Picture
Jason received his PhD from Monash University in 2018, which included 6 months at the Swiss Light Source (SLS) at the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI), Switzerland. Prior to re-joining LMS as a postdoc in January 2019 he spent nearly two years as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, UK, in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CEB). His research interests include microfluidic device fabrication, acoustic actuation and sensing, micro-droplet production and manipulation.

Jason also works as a resident tutor at Trinity College, the University of Melbourne, where he enjoys being part of the life of the college and exploring the cafes around the city. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, rowing and getting to the beaches of Phillip Island
