​Professor Adrian Neild

Adrian received his PhD from Warwick University, UK, and then spend three years as a postdoc at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, He is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and the Deputy Dean (Strategic Initiatives) of the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University.
​His research interests are:
  • Non-linear ultrasound including acoustic radiation forces and acoustic streaming
  • Viscosity, microfluidic systems, micron-scale particle and biological cell handling, air-coupled ultrasound, transducer design, non-destructive testing, and finite-element analysis.

Dr. Tuncay Alan

Tuncay received his PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Cornell University. Prior to joining Monash he has worked as a researcher at Delft Institute of Microsystems and Nanoelectronics (DIMES) in the Netherlands and London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) in UK.

  • Nanomechanics and nanofabrication
